Thank you

...To my guardian angel.

Got the car back from getting it's nose job today. Its been gone for nearly 3 months. Beautiful sunny day and 63* degrees out. Who wouldn't be smiling? Who would be enjoying redline shifts? Who wouldn't be crapping their shorts when they made the damn fool mistake of shift 1-2 at wot while passing (while changing lanes). Back end whipped round to the front passenger. Counter-steered as it whipped back driver. Back passenger nearly perpendicular with the car I just passed. I saw the flip coming. I knew me and that ditch were about to be intimidate. ..but it wasn't to be. She regained composer. I short shifted up to 6th and didn't go over 2k rpms the rest of the way home.

For sale ad pending?

Paaalease. ...it had to be the tire pressure. I'll adjust it in the morning. :D

Yes, we've all done similar in a "living the good life" moment. My Guardian Angle has definitely earned her keep, particularly in my younger life....sometimes even now :)

It's a well known fact, especially among bike riders that the white line can be dangerously slick....I'm bettin that's the culprit.

Photos, we need photos of the new nose.

Hadn't thought about it, but I'll bet you are right. That and a heavy dose of driver error.

Damn I bet you are still shaking! I'm so glad you came out of that so well. It is amazing how quickly they can get away from you and have quite a mind of their own. Been there done that and one thing for sure you will never do that again!

Wife has my DD (truck) to take the dog to the vet so I'm about to head out to a customer site in the beast. Checked the pressures...ya...all sitting around 22. Topped up to 35 all around. Not sure that anything to do with it, but I am still "once bitten, twice shy". Its 64* and a beautiful sunny day...I think it'll be alright! The top will drop on the way home. Can't have my hair messy to meet with the client... :smokin:

35 sounds WAY too high to me. I run 26 - 28...

charchri4 01-27-2015 12:37 PM

I was thinking that too. I usually run low 30s on the street and around 26 (cold) on the track.

Gator Bait 01-27-2015 02:55 PM

I was guestimating based on what I found on the net stating 35-40 hot temps at the track. I'm not going to get much temp into them cruising around to/from work. I may drop down to 32, but they felt fine going the speedlimit on the superslab..... :/
