SOLD - 1993 Ford 5.0 coversion for sale. - SOLD
 

-Conversion done in 2010.Car has 106K miles, 3000 since conversion.
-1993 Mustang GT 5.0 engine bored .030 (306 cu in.) all new internals with
forged pistons.
-Heads ported to match GT40 with GT40 valves, springs and Cobra 1.7 roller
rockers. Stock GT cam, intake system and distributor.
-Ford Explorer front engine dress. Ford Power steering to Miata rack.
-Fans moved behind radiator.
-King Cobra clutch.
-Martin's parts include headers, front sub-frame, trans mount, driveshaft,
rear mounting and axle hubs. With Factoryfive axles.
-Three core radiator is Griffin from Summit.
-Trans is a Motorsport T5Z with 2.95 first gear.
-Rear is a 3.27 7.5' traction lock. Included is a 3.73 traction lock also.

-Suspension bushings have been replaced. Shocks are KYB-AGX with
adjustable coil over springs.
-SS frame rail stiffiners and a Hard Dog twin hoop roll bar.
-Brakes are heavy duty with caliper relocation brackets that allow the stock
calipers to move outward and use larger rotors. Stainless brake hoses.
-Exhaust is custom 2" stainless steel with Magna Flow mufflers and cats.
-Wheels are 16"X8". Tires are 201/50R16 Dunlop Sport Maxx.

-Car has not been raced or wrecked. Original paint is shiny-a good ten foot
car. Body has a small amount of rust in the black area just in front of the
rear wheels on both sides. Drain holes have been enlarged. Top drain holes
are clean. Black top recently replaced. Covers for top when lowered and
hard top on, and rear window when unzipped. Factory front and rear
spoilers. Car could use paint, but not necessary at this time.
-Interior has Tan leather seats. Tan and Black dash and door panels. All
interior components are in very good condition. Has vintage looking Hurst
shifter. Actual shifter is a Hurst. New speakers and power antenna with a
Sony CD stereo system. It sounds good, but the car sounds better, so I
don't listen to the radio!

-Hard top is included. It might be painted black by the sale time.

-Failing back is forcing the sale of this car. I've had eight Miata's, this has
been my favorite.

-Car is a fun, reliable driver (even daily if you like).
-Location is Newark, DE 19713.

Jim, sorry to hear the car's leaving, sure looks like a nice one. That said, good luck with the back. I had the big surgery (ruptured disk) several years ago and as Bill Clinton said, I feel your pain.

Thanks, RR. It really is fun to drive when your back isn't hurting. I had L5 and S1 done three years ago. Now I need L4 and L5 done. I think at this point, stenosis and arthritis are the problems. Not sure if fusion is necessary yet.

1993 Miata V8 for sale.
 

Sorry, I was pretty tired after making up the ad. I did it once, but took over an hour and was signed out by the system for inactivity. When I signed back in, the ad was gone, so I had to do it again.
I forgot tp list the price-$11,000 firm. No trades, please.

Additional parts included are a hood, left door with mirror, trunk lid, rear tail light trim panel, both door windows, a complete pedal set, Miata condenser and hard lines. 7.5" 3.55 gear set.

Also a Miata starter, 1.8 4.10 open rear, driveshaft, PPF, Mustang SB-95 intake manifold set, some extra aftermarket gauges, Ford EFI manual, Miata repair manuals, Martin's book and a large wiring schematic for the EFI system. There is probably more, but I can't remember just now.
