Here are a couple of pics. No build thread. I am second owner.

charchri4 09-25-2012 08:59 AM

So you didn't build it then?

russandpam 09-25-2012 09:20 AM

No, I did not build it.

charchri4 09-25-2012 10:07 AM

Why are you selling it?

Just so you know I'm about 6 hours from you and would need a ton more info and photos before I would make the trip down. Any detail you have would be helpful to getting it sold.

The car was built in Edmund, Oklahoma. He used the Martin kit. Most of the info I have was based on him. The owner was a business owner and he had the employee build it. I only dealt with the employee but it looks like he did everything by the book and he said if he needed questions answered he called Martin. I am selling it because I bought a different car and dont need two fast sports cars. The clutch needs adjusted and I was going to put in the reinforcement bracket this winter. That is the only issue it has. The car has never got hot even in town on 100 degree days. The car is solid with no rust but does need a new paint job. Call me at 620-326-5570 and ask me more questions and let me know what kind of pics you want.

Price drop to $9000.

MRM331 10-02-2012 02:26 PM

So you paid $13k for it?

Any suspention upgrades or is it riding on the kit front springs? What shocks does it have? From what I can see it didn't use one of my harnesses (MRM), did it?

Can you tell us who the builder was?

-Jason

russandpam 10-02-2012 03:17 PM

No, did not pay $13000 for it. : ) But the builder said he spent $13000 on parts for it, however I never go the rcpts for them but based on what I have seen that is probably a close estimate. The builder was an employee of a business in Oklahoma. The owner of the business wanted one built. The employee was a shade tree mechanic but seemed to do a good job. After building it the owner decided it was too uncomfortable for him (he was over 6 foot). Did not use one of your harnesses. He built the harness per Martin's instruction book. It has Rx7 rear brakes, Wilwood front brakes and Sensec shocks/struts. I assume he used the kit springs since he bought the kit.

Another price drop to $8500.

The brakes you wrote about are Martin's upgrade which is fairly decent. This may be a good deal for anyone in the area who was looking to build one.

Does the car have all of the factory emissions? O2 sensors and catalytic converters?

russandpam 10-12-2012 09:55 AM

No emissions at all.

:eek4: Are you sure it has no o2 sensors? You are running the Mustang fuel injection set up right?

russandpam 10-14-2012 11:16 AM

Yes I am running stock fuel system with stock injectors.

russandpam 10-17-2012 10:54 AM

I would like to get rid of this before winter. Price drop to $7750. I will be putting it on ebay next. The sale price will not be getting any lower. This is a buy.

Vic Harder 10-18-2012 12:25 PM

Wicked deal. Someone has to buy this!

charchri4 10-18-2012 12:34 PM

He had me at the $8500 mark it's just really bad timing with my cash flow right now.
