Ebay Miata...

Been watching for awhile... wanted to be the first to post this...

I think this was for sale on another site wasn't it?

Mazda MX 5 Miata Mega Monster | eBay

Haven't seen that one before, that thing is sharp!

This car was listed in the past, owner/seller wanted $30,000 for it, then after 8 months dropped the price down to $24,500. Will be interesting to see what it goes for on Ebay this time around.

Is it not strange that the white stripes go all the way down the back bumper and even the roll bar but theyv stop at the front of the hood?

spfldil62701 05-25-2016 07:23 PM

I think it's an obvious bumper replacement? Maybe bigger engine than brakes? Hahaha...

MrMustang is right. It has been for sale for at least 2 years. It has been listed in many venues but never sold. You notice that the beginning price is equal to an asking price.

Watch the bidding.

I'll leave it at that

Norotamota 05-26-2016 01:53 PM

Sounds good to me. It is a very well done car. I have a Mega Monster so will be interested to see what a really nice example will bring.

Norotamota 05-26-2016 07:29 PM

I also misread the current bid as the starting bid. It will do well.

Well that didn't take long... Over 25 now. Looks like he'll make his money back and then some.

And magically it's up near it's asking price for the last year and a half it was listed at $25,500. Let the potential bidder beware :bang:

Wasn't it originally in IL? The ebay listing shows it's in Rhode Island now.

Listed in Florida (Jacksonville craigslist), Rhode Island (Providence), DC (northern VA), and Colorado (Denver) on occasion.

Supposedly, 25,401.00

Questionable bidding leading up to the last two bidders jumping in. Moths to a flame perhaps, getting caught up in the hype. :ugh2:

sometimes I think the seller tries to avoid some of the ebay and/or paypall fees by finding a buyer through bidding and then taking the listing down at some point. actual buyer could have offered any $ offer that the seller decided to take...

My experience with selling something expensive on ebay has not been the best. winner doesn't pay, no response from winner, etc... maybe it worked for this seller this time!
