91 Monster Miata 5.0 in Delaware

1991 Miata in Silverstone w/darker grey tape stripes. No rust body was stripped and painted. Complete Martin Monster Miata components. Ford Performance 5.0 crate engine with aluminum heads (SVO) 9:1 compression with standard hydraulic roller camshaft. EZ-EFI Injection. Motor and EFI system chosen for a very drivable street car. Ford T-5 transmission with 2.95 hardened first gear. Ford 7.5 IRS W/3.27 gear. Custom built exhaust with Borla mufflers. VMAX coil overs. Kumho 225/50 R15 tires mounted on an older set of 6UL wheels. The brakes are Mazda Miata, with the larger front brakes. Hard Dog double hoop roll bar. This car was built by Mark Mclaughlin at Manchester Miata, Maryland. Build was completed in May 2017. I titled and registered the car in my home state of Delaware. In the three years I've owned the Miata I have put a little over 2,000 miles on odometer. The car is purposely understated and appears stock until you notice the dual exhaust tips or happen to hear the unmistakable rumble of a V8 motor. This car does not have air conditioning, by choice.
Priced reasonably at $16,500. PM if interested. Cheers, Jeff

very nice car. why the hood pins?

jparry 09-28-2020 09:31 PM

:dunno:Builder installed hood pins on this car after his higher horsepower car suffered hood deformation and failure at speed. I could have lived without them.

Did the car ever have A/C?

jparry 10-06-2020 04:59 PM

It appears so, by the presence of the AC button on climate controls.
