6.0L V8 Miata 6-Speed posted on bringatrailer.com

https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.v8m...ed559e1250.jpgPosted to bringatrailer.com at https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...mx-5-miata-57/

The posting starts off with “This 2000 Mazda MX-5 Miata is powered by a GM-sourced 6.0-liter V8 linked with a six-speed Tremec manual transmission and Ford 8.8″ limited-slip differential, and it is finished in black over matching cloth. The car was first registered in New Jersey and spent time in Pennsylvania and New York before it was purchased on BaT in January 2021 by the seller and subsequently relocated to Colorado. Modifications under previous ownership included the driveline retrofit with a cast-iron Vortec engine block and lower end, LS1 cylinder heads, and a Crane Cams camshaft as well as V8 Roadsters subframes, control arms, and chassis reinforcements. Additional equipment includes Wilwood brakes, 15″ 949 Racing wheels, Flyin’ Miata V-MAXX adjustable coilover assemblies, a Hard Dog roll bar assembly, and more as described below. Work completed under current ownership is said to have included re-torquing the driveline hardware, installing stock seat belts, modifying the seat bottom cushions, padding the roll bar, and replacing the valve cover gaskets. This modified Miata is now offered with a build sheet and notes, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.”

Has at least 100 photos & 2 videos posted. Lots more descriptive text too. Says car is in Erie, Colorado. 7 days of bidding remain as of 25MAY22.

You beat me to it! The car is mine. I got an absolute steal on the car. My wife encouraged me to take a chance on it. :) You can look at the previous ad and guess why it didn't sell for more.

The car is rock solid. Mechanically needs nothing. One of the nicest v8 Miatas I've seen for sale in a long time. If you want to nitpick, it could use better tires and a new soft top.

Happy bidding
