The negatives are mostly cosmetic, there is a wide scratch a few inches long on the passenger fender, several dime to quarter size dings here and there, some scuffs and spider cracks on the front bumper. Also, there is currently no hood prop, no heat, and no ac.

The car does have rebuilt history in it's title chain. I do not know the specifics, but I was told it went under a truck at a light. I do know that all body panels are original except for the hood and the passenger side fender. The front bumper, drivers side fender, doors, trunk, and shell all have their original VIN tags. The car drives and brakes straight, aligns with no issues.

The car runs great, is fast and reliable. Will drive cross country, no problem. Can daily.

Engine runs great, no smoke, no rattles or funny noises, no over heating.

Why are you selling? I remember seeing this car on ebay and on here, couldn't have been more than a year or so ago.

I've owned the car for a little over a year and a half. I don't have to sell it, just too many cars and other obligations, so it's not getting used much.

Is this still for sale? Has the price changed, given time elapsed/

thanks

Dumb question

Why don't most people finish up the ac? Is it that hard to get working in a ls swap?

atomp3 09-22-2019 09:10 AM

I personally find air conditioning in a convertible superfluous, then again, I don't live in Texas, or Florida, etc. That being said, it should be a relatively straightforward addition. As far as I know, most, if not all, of the Flyin' Miata built LSx cars have AC installed.

ozerinx 09-22-2019 09:28 AM

agree - (from texas)

Yeah we are in texas so its living hell without ac. had a track car with everything pulled and i sold it super fast lol.

I saw that with flying miata and when they sell their LS swaps they ask for 30k+ =.= so that's why i was assuming AC is a pain in the ass becasue everything else is the same.

The FM built cars get a big premium. I think it's because of their good reputation, more than the difficulty of the swap and systems involved. That, and they use all new parts, new engine, trans, etc. adds up fast.

I've had a lot of private messages inquiring about location.

The car is located in Denver, Colorado.
