Miatas at the Gap 2017 is coming up! August 3rd thru the 6th of this year!
So who all is going to be there? My goal is to have Ryu up and running in time to make it.

Come to MATG and we will show you some of the roads the dumbasses know nothing about. ;) The Dragon is only the most popular road around here... Not the best. :D

Look for me at the Knox Area Roadster's tent. My two best friends and I run the club.

My buddy wrecked his NA there last year lol.

That is always a shame when that happens. I lost a good friend of mine on that road about 3 years ago, in what was essentially a freak accident.

Was your buddies NA Blue? If so, I know who bought it from him.

Nope it was white with a hardtop. I know that narrows it down a lot /sarcasm. I've been up there a ton and have learned to respect the roads and your limits. Seen wayyyy too many people have severe consequences. I will say though I had the most fun on my 636 out of everything I've driven up there.

I think I know the car you are talking of. There were only a couple of wrecks at last years MATG. I wasn't there, but I got all the reports :D

V8Roadsters will be there with several cars again this year

Haven't been in several years, never with the V8M, but would like to this year. I enjoy the crowd and bench racing talking with other enthusiasts, not too much setting fastest lap! Hope to report back here with confirmation in a month or two...

One of my local clubs has a pretty good crowd going, 10 or so cars I know of right now, we will be in california that week so its highly unlikely for me.

Just a quick update that I have the hotel room secured -- Snowbird Mtn Lodge (if you're looking for a special place to go and "dump" the wife out for the day, LOL.) The view, the food and the Bar are all pretty special as well.

Hope to meet up with some of you guys and see some of these modified King of the Jungle cars there! Actually, I do like checking out the insanely original ones, the beaters, and every Miata in between. (Except for ones with stuffed teddy bears and such sitting on the dash - those creep me out!)

Drop by the V8ROADSTERS tent at Fontana Village today or tomorrow. Will have my V8M there to support our mutual campaign to wipe out rubber timing belt disease in Miatas. And add 4 more pistons as a side benefit, at the same time!
