Dinner With Flyin' Miata - April 25, 2015
 

The MX-5 Atlanta guys are asking for a head count for the dinner they are doing Saturday night. I thought it better to start a new thread rather than have it get lost in the discussion on the other one. Post up if you are coming and how many please.

I'll be there 24th&25th from post at MX5 seems our total numbers maybe to much?I'll keep dinner opt. open and see what happens.

True that and I gave them an out saying we did not want to crash their party by doubling their numbers and make it hassle for anyone. To which I was promptly rebuked! They are excited to have us come and want us there for sure. The only reason they are asking for numbers is to prepare well for it so it's a good event for everyone.

So 1 or 2 for dinner then? :)

Exactly. Trust me, it's no hassle at all! I'm no stranger to hosting large parties or meets, but I do like to try to make it as simple and enjoyable for everyone involved. We'd definitely like to have everyone who wants to attend to come out and enjoy the gathering! The FM guys are a bunch of fun to hang out with (and so are the Atlanta owners) and it's always a great evening unwinding from being at the track.

Wow. Sounds like great hospitality and a lot of fun. Going to the event with about 6-7 of us from NC... Maybe I'll just break away from the pack that night for dinner. Jim, it'll probably be me (Pat) + 1. Yeah, I'd say count me in for 2!

I will tentatively sign up for two. I am not sure how many are coming with me. I am looking forward to meeting a bunch of you!

We need to come up with something cool to do for the Atl MX-5 guys for having a bunch of guys with twice the spark plugs over for dinner. Are we doing Mitty shirts? Maybe a plaque for the club?

Has the location been determined for this, yet? It would be nice to have an address so that hotel/motel reservations could be made close by for the out-of-towners, or even for the locals like me.
