SOLD - Fully Sorted 1995 LS1 Miata for Sale - SOLD
With two small kids, I've decided its time to sell. I've put A LOT time and money into this car and I know I'll miss it. I have a bit of an OCD problem when it comes to cars, and accordingly this car is immaculate. It's fully sorted with ZERO bugs- it runs flawlessly. You could drive it cross-country or commute in it every day without a worry.
You'd be hard pressed to find another swapped LS1 cleaner than this. I've won my class in every show that I've entered and have the trophies to prove it.
I recently spent $6500 on a top-notch paint job. I also replaced all weather stripping and most interior components. Here's a run down of what it has:
2002 LS1 Engine, ~60k miles.
T56 Transmission
Ford 8.8 IRS Differential
3.55 Detroit Locker
Sanderson Headers
V8 Roadster Components
Tubular Engine K Member
Aluminum Drive Shaft
V8 Roadsters Frame Channel Members
255 Fuel Pump
Stainless Steel Fuel Line
Corvette Filter/Regulator
Willwood Clutch Master Cylinder
Fully working Digital Cluster from NB miata
Hard Dog Roll Bar
15x8 949 Racing Wheels with 225/45 RS3s (less than 1500 miles)
Standard Racing 550 lb. Front Coilovers
Standard Racing 350 lb Rear Coilovers
Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors
Braided Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Power steering
A/C Compressor and Condenser Coil
Custom Magnaflow Exhaust
SPAL Racing Cooling Fans
Mishimoto radiator
LS7 clutch with aluminum flywheel with less than 5k miles.
Sparco Steering Wheel with Bell Hub
Flyin Miata Front and Rear Sway Bars
New Yellowtop battery
Newer leather seats.
Factory Hardtop
There's more but that's the gist of it.
Asking $26,500. Keep in mind this isn't a project car- its completely done and ready to drive. Not interested in trades or parting out.
Located in Northern, VA. Please e-mail dcmx5lsx@gmail.com@yahoo.com if interested. Many more hi-res pics available.
Thanks

Thanks guys. I forgot to mention that it put down 330whp and 347wtq. It was tuned by Race Proven Motorsports in Delaware.
I have 2 binders full of documentation and build progress, but I don't have a nice site like you, Jim. It was originally started by the previous owner, but I had to do a lot to make it run right, particularly the electrical. It's been running for almost 4 years now, so every little glitch has been addressed at this point.

The down side to a good build thread like mine is everyone can see how bad it is! In your case I think posting a brief history would be helpful with the sale. I know I'd want to see every scrap in that binder.
How many miles on the swap?

Good idea. The swap has approximately 8k miles on it. I drive it roughly 2k miles per year...usually just to work on a Friday or to go to shows and cars and coffee events.

You'll find the right buyer. I'd suggest listing on FM's site. I can tell you I spent a pretty penny more on mine that you are asking and there were other buyers interested at the time. I would have jumped all over this car. glws.

+1 to what Gator said. Clean LS cars like this are not under every rock but like any niche market buyers are also few and far between. It's only a matter of time until the right one comes along and this site is visible enough now that anyone doing a serious search will find you. I feel your price is spot on for the car and with the paint there is no question it could not be built for that. Just keep doing what you are doing and post it on every site you can and it will sell.

Thanks guys....had the day off so I took it for a nice 80 mile drive this morning through some back roads. I gotta say, I really really love this thing and wish I could put a car seat in it! Took some more photos and videos since I had some free time. Here's a link to the full album:

A NM MSM was listed for 2 days at $47k and is sale pending. A second NB is listed at $45K. Both were build by FM, but your finished product actually shows very nicely as was noticed from your LStech ad on my local Miata forum. I don't think they charge much to list with them. Might be worth looking into.
Of course I have an interest in keeping the sale prices high.... ...........
