Default 1991 LS1 Miata Race Car $26000.00

This car is a purpose built race car. It was originally owned and built by Dean Thomas. The car has a very well built cage that's SCCA and NASA legal. It was built by Evil Genius Racing and is tied into the seat belt towers, the A pillars and the tunnel. The engine is a completely stock LS1, so there's a LOT of room for making power improvements: heads/cams/etc. if you wanted to run ST1 or SU. The car is set up now to run ST2. If you “Google” Dean Thomas LS1 Miata, you will find a bunch of photos, videos, build articles etc. I purchased this car The 1st of March 2013 for one of my clients. He raced it one weekend, loved the car but due to unfortunate circumstances will no longer be racing. He has asked me to sell the car for him. The price is $26,000.00. Here is a list some of some of the other components:

- New Carbon Fiber top (Dzues fastners. Top can be off in 30 seconds)
- Recaro SPG Race head restraint seat - brand new in 2011.
- Firesense 6 nozzle fire 4 liter fire system.
- Schroth 6 pt harnesses - new in 2013
- Wiring is a work of art - all professionally done starting with a Painless LS1 harness and a Painless 8 circuit race harness.

- AIM data acquisition system - (not fully hooked up with sensors, yet)
- Painless switch panel
- Custom aluminum dash (also a work of art)
- Custom double pass Ron Davis aluminum racing radiator - plumbed correctly and "figured out" - cooling isn't a problem.
- Ford 8.8 aluminum housing with clutch pack differential.
- V8Roadsters heavy duty axles and hubs
- V8 Roadsters subframe etc
- T56 transmission
- Brand new front hubs, rebuilt with NEO synthetic grease
- Seat is on sliders and is "sunk" into the floor pan for increased driver headroom.
- Fatcat Motorsports suspension
- ISC front sway bar
- Racing Extras adjustable rear wing
- Custom front airdam and splitter that generate usable downforce
- Hood vents
- LS1 Engine is a new crate engine with 9 races on it
- The exhaust is a custom 3 inch 2 into 1.

That's not the car I was expecting. There was some yellow one that was out for sale recently, I thought it would be that one.

The price is at the high side of fair, and would probably do a little better if the rust in the trunk was taken care of. $50 worth of Por-15 and white spray paint would make a world of difference.

The rest of the car is awesome, I especially like the super clean wiring and the fabricated dash. Very cool.

Good luck with the sale,
-Jason
