The problem I have with posts like this is clearly you have no idea what your market is here. Nearly every product highlighted will not work in our cars and even the one that does would have little interest to us. Why? Because the audio issue we face is not the head unit it's the lack of subs or places you can put subs in the car. You come up with a solution to put a decent sub set up in an NA Miata with out taking trunk room and you will have lots of folks around here very interested in your stuff.

You have to define decent. I'm thinking a set of JL 6W3v3-4 (6.5" subs) in the rear deck will do. Found one carbon fiber manufactured solution, but pricey and I doubt
the quality from the pics and lack of description and installed pictures so I'll be building my own enclosure under the rear deck carpet.

As a site sponsor we are trying to share with you as much information as possible about interesting and useful products we carry. You're right that Miata is not spacious enough, but still its possible to get a nice audio system.
Start with aftermarket head unit. Any aftermarket head unit in the standard size should be easy to install in the factory location. To get better sound quality you can use an amplifier. External amplifiers are only limited by how much you want to pay. The stock door speakers are quite weak and inefficient and can be replaced by aftermarket ones, as large as 6.5", although this will require a bit of customization. The headrest speakers help to fill-in the higher frequencies, especially during top-down driving when the higher notes from the door speakers tend to be drowned out by wind noise. Any 3" speakers should fit your headrests. It is possible to install a pair of free-air subs in the rear deck panel, trunk or behind the passenger seat. Yet to post something like the above, out of the blue, it gets classified as SPAM by 90% of the members of each site. To start an actual discussion and be an active participant is one thing, but to just post as self promotion is another.

Your above response is the latter of being considered spam and 100% self promotion, and does not add value to your company, or this forum in it's current form.

I won't even talk about your "E Keystone" style interface for products in which you do not warehouse.

Seriously I can't believe you said that. Good luck selling anything when you put the burden on your customers to call in and do your work for you. There is absolutely no point posting an ad that says call someone else because I have no idea how to help you. Talk about !

If you want to sell your stuff then stop wasting our time and show us how you can put a sub set up in a Miata right here. The issue is there is no space at all behind the seat or under the seat and if you have a glass back window no deck either.

OK but not helpful since you still have not answered the question. You titled this post "What do you need to get an aftermarket sound system" but that is exactly the question you need to answer for us. We don't know your products or what components would work best for a small drop top car. That is your job! Seriously have you gone on your site and tried to figure out what a good sound system would be for a Miata?

And again you clearly have no idea who we are. Do you really think a bunch of guys that are capable of putting a Mustang or Corvette engine in a Miata would need to call your techs to install a radio?

I don't wish to be rude but every time you post you just make it worse.
