LS1 5.7L Corvette V8 Miata! Extras! $15,000!!!
Up for sale today I have a 1992 LS1 5.7L V8 Mazda Miata! I have had the opportunity to own this beautiful beast of a car for only half a year and only put roughly a thousand miles on it. This vehicle has never once let me down. If you think that you would ever need more power than what this amazing chevy v8 has to offer, than I would believe you are crazy. I will go through all of the good and list a few things that the car needs as well. You can contact me at the number posted above. The is a VERY efficient vehicle, climbing to about 24mpg highway. All the turn signals work as well. The paint on this car looks amazing as it was re-painted not too long ago. Clean Title in hand, this beast is just waiting for a new owner.. you will not be disappointed. My price for this vehicle is 15,000.
EDIT: Contacted seller: This is a mix off Monster Miata and boss frog parts.
Old owner stated rear end is monster miata and engine and trans are boss frog.
5.7L V8 and Automatic transmission from a 2001 Corvette -- 75,xxx miles.
Ford Thunderbird 7.5 rear end with 3.27 Final drive ratio.
18" black wheels as shown in picture
Tein Adjustable suspension.
Brand New 15x8 Konig Dial In wheels in gloss black (Not installed)
Brand New 225-45-15 BF Goodrich Rival S Tires (Not installed)
Rolled fenders
Miata Big Brake Kit (Not installed)
I was told all conversion parts are from Flyin Miata
Brand new top
Chrome Roll Bar
Reupholstered Roadster Seats
Cadillac CTS-V Power steering pump (Not installed)
New Paint job
I am sure I am missing a bunch.
My phone number is 810-399-3098. Please do not use it unless interested.
NO JOYRIDES. I do not allow rides unless money is in hand. And no, I do not need help selling my vehicle. Please let me know if you have any questions! Thank you so much for looking.

So, a few observations, please don't take these as me bashing your sale post, my comments are meant to educate.
-First of all, I looked at your craigslist ads, which I knew were out there based on the way this ad is written. I assume since you recently signed up here you haven't spent a huge amount of time here, but the people on this site are genuine enthusiasts and there are some things on your car that may not add up that people here will see.
-To expand on what tombea said, the engine bay could definitely benefit from a couple hours cleaning and polishing. You have a lot of dirt and grime, and surface rust on parts will turn some people away. You have some loose wiring here and there, if nothing else tuck it away/heat shrink it.
-You said the motor/trans came from a C5 with 75k miles, can you prove that? The C5's have kind of a makeshift transaxle in them, so without a fair amount of work, I'd call it unlikely that the trans is from a vette. That shifter is from something else as well.
-You said that there was no skimping in any way, however in one of your ads it says some of the easiest gauges to make work are not working, any idea why?
-What you call a roll bar, is actually a "style bar". It should not be relied on for safety in a roll over situation.
-That ford rear is likely a 7.5, not a 7.7.
-What year is the CTS-V pump from? Depending on which one, it may not even fit this application.
-Any info on the fuel system? Is that some kind of regulator on the back passenger side of the engine bay?
Like I said, not trying to dog on your car or anything, but someone who is serious about spending your asking price on that car will want to know these things.

Okay so I am sorry for not checking this post as much as I should have been - have not seen all of these replies on the ad.
Yes, I do have it on craigslist as well.
Yes youre right about the car needing a polishing up, I work a ton and wish I could have the time to clean it all up. I will try to take it to get it all detailed and everything if I have time.
I can not prove that as I purchased this item as it sits today. Yes the shifter is from something else. Owner said he wanted it to look like the stock miata one.
The gauges are not working because it is not wired up to work. I havent spent the time or money to fix them. Car runs beautifully - I start it up and drive it a bit to make sure everything is A OK.
The CTS-V pump should be from a 2010.
I believe that is an air/oil separator. What would you like to know about fuel system?
