Sooo how about mitty 2016?

I really want to this year, may not be able to. I could probably get a cheap set of wheels on the car, and If I can get it wired, well, hell it should actually be pretty close to driveable... I took a layoff middle of last year and my project has pretty much slowed to a a near hault since (one of those oil field guys out of work :-D).
Regardless, If I can get the time off, I'll go. Fly or drive, it was a really great time last year and I'd be happy to do it again! Anyone pondering the event, seriously consider going. From the Audi R8 Lemans car, to classic Porsches, Classic american muscle, and tons of old british metal (not to mention a brand new Porsche 918, Lambo Aventador, and Z06) there is a lot of eye candy for every taste, and one of the most easy going crowds at a race event you will ever run into. Loved it.

I'll be there ---- but no V8Roadster this year. I've taken it to the Mitty the past 2 years, but have some other things to take care of on Sunday in downtown ATL. Gotta pack up my nephew's apt as he is moving back home to VA that week. I encourage any and all to come to the Mitty and bring your camera as you stroll the massive pits.

Just got my pass for the weekend. Car still isn't done, but I'd love to meet up and talk to as many of you guys from the forum as possible. Looking forward to it, I had to skip last year.

Been kind of quiet from Keith and the boys at flyin Miata this year. I still have not put eyes on my car yet for the year but am planning to this week. I have 4 options for that weekend of track and shoots and really need to decide want to do!

I only just got confirmation yesterday about some of the details.
We're in our old location this year, across the "street" from where we were last year. It should give us more room to spread out. We can set up a V8 corral easily.
The touring laps - free with a FM windshield banner! - are at 6 pm on Friday. Yes, we'll have banners in our booth.
We're going to be bringing the first ND with an LS3. It's not running yet, but we've got the big bits in place. We'll have a couple of other cars there, including another surprise product that isn't V8-oriented.

Awesome to see FM in their proper location! Didn't think they got a fair shake last year with that spot they were put in. See you guys there. And thanks to Jim for that nasty sound of spring in MN! That was awesome. Wish my LS2 would turn over that quick. Think my starter just sux!

Well this didn't go quite as planned. I knew my clutch had a problem but I thought it just needed a master cylinder kit. I never saw any drips before but now the reservoir drains out over night and there is a big puddle under the bell housing.
I could drive my cruiser but wouldn't be much fun. So I wish you safe travels, great weather and a fantastic weekend!
Meanwhile the cruiser does have it's perks...

The Mitty was a little wet on Friday and great on Saturday. Flyin Miata's V8 ND is coming along nicely and you need to check out V8 Roadster's LFX ND it sets in like it was made for the car. Great work and engineering by them both.
